“Toile Metis – Fleur Bleue” – natural linen and cotton vintage tea towel produced in France. ‘Toile Metis’ was introduced in the early 1900’s as a more substantial and less expensive form of linen, it is generally 65% linen and 35% cotton. These simple but classic tea towels have possibly never been used they are decorated with attractive bright woven stripes, five single stripes across the middle, three orange and two yellow and a set of blue, yellow, and orange stripes running down the left- and right-hand sides.
Washing Instructions: Machine washable at up to 60 C for the best results let the tea towel dry naturally. Dry cleaning and tumble drying can weaken the fibres. Iron on a medium to hot heat
